What causes it

The neck skin is thinner than facial skin and has fewer sebaceous glands — making it more prone to early aging. Sun exposure, repeated movement, and collagen loss create the thin, crinkled texture that gives "crepey" its name.

Best approaches

RF Microneedling applied to the neck stimulates collagen and significantly improves crepey texture. CO2 laser provides more aggressive resurfacing for pronounced cases. The Nefertiti lift (Botox in the platysmal bands) softens vertical neck bands and lifts the lower face. Filler is used conservatively for horizontal neck lines.
