Medical-grade chemical peels use carefully selected acidic solutions to remove layers of damaged skin, accelerate cell turnover, and stimulate collagen — revealing fresher, clearer, more evenly toned skin beneath. At Devenir Aesthetics, our peels are customized to your skin type, concern, and downtime tolerance — ranging from superficial brightening peels with no peeling to deeper medium-strength peels that produce visible shedding and more dramatic results.
Peel Depths
- Superficial peels (glycolic, lactic, salicylic): Brighten tone, smooth texture, no visible peeling. Great for monthly maintenance.
- Medium-depth peels (TCA, Jessner): Address pigmentation, acne scars, fine lines. 3–7 days of visible flaking.
- VI Peel (specialty blend): A popular medium-depth option suitable for all skin types — see VI Peel for full details.
What Chemical Peels Treat
- Hyperpigmentation and melasma
- Sun damage and age spots
- Acne scarring and post-inflammatory marks
- Fine lines and early wrinkles
- Dull, rough, or congested skin
- Active acne (salicylic acid peels)
After Your Peel
SPF 30+ is non-negotiable for at least 2 weeks after any peel. Do not pick, peel, or exfoliate the skin while it is actively shedding — allow the natural process to complete. Avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks after deeper peels.
