Your Holiday-Ready Treatment Timeline: Look Radiant for Every Photo, Party & Event — Devenir Aesthetics, Northwest Austin, TX

The secret to looking your best at every holiday event? Timing. With the right aesthetic plan, you can walk into every holiday gathering glowing, refreshed, and confident — never rushed, never overdone.

8–6 Weeks Before: Laser Resurfacing

This early window is ideal for CO₂, ablative, IPL, or anything that causes peeling or pigment shedding. It allows redness to fade, flaking to complete, pigment shedding to settle, and time for touch-ups if needed.

Perfect for: Sun damage, texture concerns, fine lines, pigmentation irregularities, and full complexion refresh.

6–4 Weeks Before: Microneedling or RF Microneedling

Skin may be pink for a few days, but collagen remodeling continues for weeks — making this timing ideal. Also a great window for non-ablative laser or light treatments including hair removal, gentle fractional treatments, and light pigment correction. These usually heal within 7–10 days, but a month gives excellent wiggle room.

4–3 Weeks Before: Dermal Fillers

The perfect filler window — enough time for bruising to resolve, swelling to subside, the filler to settle beautifully, and a refinement appointment if needed.

3–2 Weeks Before: Botox or Dysport

Botox or Dysport typically take 3–7 days to begin working, with full smoothing at 14 days. This timing also allows a micro-touch-up if needed before your main event.

2–1 Weeks Before: Glow Week

Facials, enzyme peels, dermaplaning, Glo2Facials — this is when you get that ultra-smooth, radiant, holiday-glam glow. Avoid anything too aggressive inside this week.

Final 5 Days: Keep It Light & Hydrating

This is your maintenance window. Stick to sheet masks, hydrating masks, under-eye patches, gentle exfoliation, and extra moisturizers. Absolutely no new products, no acids, no retinoids.
